As a student you are required to enroll in the Self Service Reset Password Management (SSRPM) site before you can access the Edison State network, email, Blackboard or WebAdvisor. The username and password assigned to you provides access to all of these applications.

How to Enroll into SSRPM:

  1. Click on Enroll into SSRPM.

  2. Enter your user name and default password, make sure edison is listed as the Domain. Read the Terms of Service. Click the checkbox to agree to the terms of service. Click Continue.

  3. Create two security questions and answers. Click on Enroll.

  4. You will then receive a notification that you have successfully enrolled.

Upon enrolling into SSRPM, you must reset your default password immediately for security purposes. See the next question in this FAQ for directions on how to reset your password.

NOTE Although your user name will remain the same throughout your time at Edison, your enrollment into SSRPM is important as your password will expire every 90 days. This tool can also be used to reset your own password if you forget it. You will need to know your two security question answers. You are limited to three attempts to correctly answer your security questions when resetting your password or you will be locked out of the network. If this occurs, call or visit the IT Help Desk to have your account unlocked.
