Before resetting your password, you must enroll in the Self Service Reset Password Management (SSRPM). For directions on how to enroll, click here.

How to Reset your password using SSRPM:

  1. Click on Reset your password.
  2. Enter your user name and click Continue.
  3. Enter the answers to your two security questions. Enter your new password. Confirm your new password. Click Reset Password.
  4. You will receive a notification that you have successfully reset your password and are now ready to login to the Edison State network to access your email, Blackboard and WebAdvisor.

NOTE Although your user name will remain the same throughout your time at Edison, your enrollment into SSRPM is important as your password will expire every 90 days. This tool can also be used to reset your own password if you forget it. You will need to know your two security question answers. You are limited to three attempts to correctly answer your security questions when resetting your password or you will be locked out of the network. If this occurs, call or visit the IT Help Desk to have your account unlocked.
